The night before Cynthia and Doug got married, Josie (Cynthia's sister) and me went to the pictures, and Cynthia went on a hen night.  Afterwards we all met up at the family home, had a small party - eggs on toast (Cynthia made the best ever), and songs.  Somehow me and Cynthia did a duet in front of the fireplace, singing ‘I got you babe’.  Since that time we so often said ’Bye babe’, ‘Thanks babe’, etc., with a giggle and laugh.  So, besides remembering and knowing Cynthia as an 'angel' in my, Josie's and the family’s lives, this duet has always been special: four words cover my memory of Cynthia – ‘I got you babe’.
