I have known Cynthia for over 20 years, firstly on her many visits to Portugal in Bordeira and then Cabanas and more recently with us both living in Bexhill. I always enjoyed her friendly outgoing personality, her quick wit and her humour. We spent many happy hours exploring local gardens each year, discussing books and authors, sampling various restaurants and attending the weekly pub quiz. Throughout all her recent health problems, she still managed to find elements of humour to make us laugh. I will miss her.
